I was hungry for turkey,
 
Or was it for stuffing?
Or cranberry sauce,
Or pumpkin spiced muffin…
Was it sometime in springtime?
Or was it the fall?
My parents were shopping,
At our local strip mall…
They’d taken my rabbit,

And fish that were living,

They’d gone to buy food,
For this year’s Thanksgiving…
They’d gone to buy turkeys,
