11 toes, 11 toes,
I want 11 toes!
I’ll sprinkle simple shaving cream,
And hope a new one grows!
Adding’s fun for growing things,
Like tippy, stubby toes,
Adding, adding, adding, adding,
Things that come in rows!
Each day I’ll count on counting toes,
11 toes it’s true,
So scope my one and only hope,
It’s hidden in my shoe!
Mama yelling, mama screamed,
You can’t go growing toes!
10 divides to 5 and 5,
And that’s just how it goes…
So for the second, minute, hour,
I’ll suffer toes to ten!
But before mom gets a chance to count,
I’ll grow a toe again…
