Mr. R.’s World of Math

After the movie was over, we moved the desks, and the students laid out their sleeping bags and pillows on the floor. Each student was also allowed to bring a stuffie so they wouldn’t miss home too much. 
“I don’t want to sleep near the closet,” said Jake, “I don’t know what kind of ghosts are gonna’ come out of there.”
“Me either,” added Joe.
Jenna laughed as she put her sleeping bag right in front of the closet and said, “You guys are such babies. Everyone knows there’s no such thing as ghosts, right Mr. R.?” 
“You’re correct Jenna, there’s always a logical explanation for things.” 
“Well, I saw a ghost last week,” said Jackie.
“You’re such a liar,” said Jenna.
“I did see a ghost. I was lying in my room and my dad came and said good night to me. After he left, I saw a strange light coming from under the closet door. I was so scared, I pulled the blanket over my head and didn’t move for like ten minutes. After a while, I slowly pulled the blanket down and I couldn’t believe it when I saw my closet door was open, because I knew it had been closed before. 
I hid under my blanket again, but when I heard a sound, I peeked out and saw this strange shape floating across my room. It looked like a person, but it was kind of see-through and had big, big hands. It looked right at me. I tried to scream but I was so scared, no sound came out. The ghost floated right over to my bed and picked up Pointy, my rhinoceros stuffy, and then floated right through my window.”
“Now I know you’re not telling the truth,” said Jenna,”If ghosts were real, they couldn’t pick things up, they have no bones or muscles.”
“Well this ghost picked up Pointy. I saw it.”
“Then how come you have Pointy with you now?” asked Jenna.
“When I woke up the next morning, Pointy was back in my bed. The ghost must have come back to my room when I was sleeping.”
