Mr. R.’s World of Math

Chapter 11.2

To make matters even worse, the faces the students saw floating outside the elevator were all familiar ones.
First the students saw Danny, the man who helped kids off the busses outside of Cormondale Grammar; then they saw Mrs. Navajo smiling a ghostly smile, and then they saw Mr. Morris’ face. It looked as if he was about to yell at the students but then his face disappeared into the darkness again.
All the students were screaming louder and louder with each face they saw, but no one was screaming louder or in a more annoying way than Norman was screaming.
Norman was curled up in the corner screaming so loudly that he was hyperventilating. The mustard and spinach were dripping down his face as he sobbed and screamed in fear. Norman must have screamed about 2,345,678 times.

Round the number of times Norman screamed to the nearest million.
