The Number Thief: Adding Tens

adding tens (page 1 of 10)

And when parents arrived,
I told them the tale,
They told me I’m crazy,
My brain had gone stale…
A bellybutton flew,
To steal number 10,
But I defeated the button,
With the help of ol’ Ben…
They believed I was lying,
Like chocolate taste’s good,
I’d told them the truth,
But the truth did no good…
They told me to sleep,
They told me to rest,
They put me to bed,
As you might have guessed…
So I went off to bed,
Feeling quite bad,
When my parents,
Don’t listen,
It makes me feel sad…
But later that night,
I woke up again,
And looked at my clock,
What was gone was the 10…
clock with missing ten
