Chapter 10.10

Norman kept talking (Norman loved to talk!)
“Lucky for the long shoelaces in those sneakers because those are what I grabbed as I was thrown in the air by those crazy kooky animals.” But Norman was suddenly interrupted by the evil voice coming over the speakers again.
“Well Norman,” said the voice angrily, “I see that we meet again.”
Norman broke down on the floor crying.
“Oh no, it’s the Evil Wizard of Math! Not again! Not me! Why oh why oh why-why me!!” he wailed.
     The voice continued speaking.
“This time there will be no escape. I will have you in mathematical Hades before you can say your three times tables!”
Suddenly the students heard a terrible sound, a horrible-terrible sound that made them start saying the 3 times tables. The students sounded a bit like this:

“One times three is three,
Two times three is six,
Three times three is nine.”

After the students had counted up to 11 x 3, the sound in their heads stopped and they all stopped saying the three times tables except for Greg who just kept right on going,
“Twelve times three is thirty six, thirteen times three is thirty nine!!!”
“See I have you all under control already! At least all of you but one, and we’ll take care of him!” taunted the evil wizard.
“No!” cried Norman. “I will not let you catch me or the students of 4B this time. I’ll protect them to my end if I have to!”
To protect the students from the Evil Wizard of Math, Norman might have to do
