Chapter 7.4

Norman was shocked, “I can’t believe you solved those problems so fast. I’ve been working on them for the last 30 years!! Then Norman continued crying, “I’d rather be covered with honey and have army ants lick it off! I’d rather be thrown into a bucket of wiggly worms, I would rather be…Then, instead of finishing his sentence he started singing a little song that went a little like this:

Evil, evil, evil, I say,
Every full minute of every whole day…
The Wizard of Math,
He only knows pain,
Add in the sun,
Subtract in the rain…
And if you can’t solve,
His problems of math,
He tortures and squeezes,
And incurs his full wrath…
Until you just cry,
Cry out in ire,
The pain is so great,
It burns more than fire…
I only can wish,
With all of my heart,
That I and the wizard,
Do business apart….
He’s just too mean,
With an upper-case M,
I hope that I never see him again!

Norman crawled back into the elevator leaving a wet trail of slimy, rainbow colored tears behind him. The trail looked a little like this:
