I forgot how to add!!!
I forgot take-away,
I know it’s quite bad…
I forgot who weighs more,
My pet cat or me?
I forgot skip-counting,
By 1, 2, or 3…
I forgot what’s greater,

Or less than,

Or

I forgot about
0,
The first or its sequel…
I forgot about 10,
I forgot about 20,
I forgot about coins,
And all about money…

I forgot about
1,
I forgot about
5
I forgot about distance,
And speeds I can drive…
I forgot about circles,

And triangles,

And squares,

I forgot about doubles,
And all types of pairs…
I forgot about seconds,
Hours, minutes, and days,

And summer vacation,
Has caused this math haze…
But summer break’s over,
It happened too soon,
I have to know math,
Until sometime next June…
