Mr. R.’s World of Math

Chapter 4.1

“No Greg! We’re not a bunch of common thieves! We can’t just take the money!” scolded Serena.
“Why do you always have to ruin all the fun?” complained Greg as he took out all of Mr. R’s money and handed it to Cocoa.

When Cocoa got the money she opened her mouth very wide and the students looked down her throat.

“There it is, there it is!” yelled the students.
“There is what? What the heck is that thingamajigee?” asked Greg.
     “Thingamawhatee?” asked Justin
“Thingamajigee!” screamed Greg, “What is it?”
“It’s so the elevator!” yelled Hannah.
“Not much of an elevator,” observed David, and he was right.
It wasn’t much of an elevator at all. In fact it was old, it was rusty, it was junky, it was filthy, it was smelly, it was grimy, but most of all, the thing was tiny.
It looked a bit like this:elevator door with measurements 3 X 1
What was the perimeter of the elevator door?
