Tina's Tree
(adding 3 + 3)

One, two three,
One, two, three,
Aunt Tina's tree,
How many fruits,
On Aunt Tina's tree?
Tina's tree sprouted,
Lovely red fruits,
3 lovely red fruits,
That hung above roots...

1 fruit,
Then
2 fruits,
Then
3 fruits I see,
Aunt Tina's growing,
A wonderful tree!
The next day,
I looked at her wonderful tree,
6 lovely fruits,
Is what I did see!

How many new fruits,
Were on Tina's tree?

I ate the new fruits,
I think there were
3...

Math Challenges
On the first day there were 3 fruits on Tina's tree.
On the second day, there were 6 fruits on her tree.
How many NEW fruits were on the tree the second day?
How many fruits do you think would be on the tree on the third day?
If the tree grew 6 fruits a day for 4 days, how many fruits would there be?
