Pi (π)

A pi was once found,
In ancient Greek times,
Cream or key limes...

Not dessert pies,
Not pies that we eat,
This pi's a math constant,
But it's still really sweet...

Pi's pretty easy,
It’s  3.14,
Helps me find area,
Of circles and more!
Yes,
π⋅r2
The space inside there,
Inside a circle,
Won't work with a square...
Pi also knows,
The distance around,
A circle's outside,
Use pi, and it is found...
Yes circumference,
Is found,
Using this pi,
(π⋅d)
Can't do it with chocolate,

Although you could try...
This constant called pi.
It's all really cool,
And I use it each time,
I roll off to school...

Math Challenges If a plate has a radius of 8 inches, what is its circumference? If a bicycle wheel has a diameter of 30 inches, how far will it roll in one complete revolution? If a pizza has an area of 50 square inches, what is its radius? (approximately)
