Bikes
(how many times does the number 2 or the words too, two or, to appear in this poem?)
Got 2 brakes,
Got 2 wheels,
Squeeze 2 brakes,
2 wheels squeal...
Got 2 gears?
More than 2!
2 x 10,
10 x 2,
Up 2 hills,
Down 2 hills,
Feels too great,
Two bike thrills,
Not to cry,
Had 2 spills...
Push 2 pedals,
Pushed too hard,
2 long miles,
From my yard...
Math Challenges
You bike 12 miles/hour for five hours. How far have you biked?
You are pedaling your bike up a hill. Each time you pedal, you go 6 feet forward, but also roll 2 feet backwards. How many times will you have to pedal before you travel 24 feet up the hill?
If there have 28 bike wheels, and you put them into equal piles of 4, how many wheels would be in each pile?
