Michael Beelove-Binadee
Counts To Infinity!!!

(yup, this is a symbol for infinity)

I'm counting to one hundred,
Said John-Jay-Joe-Ray,
I'm counting to a thousand,
Said Sue-Stacey-Grew-Gray...
That's not that much,
Said Mike Beelove-Binadee,
I'm going to keep counting,
'Til I get to infinity!

Impossible, yelled John,
Sue-Stacey couldn't stop laughing,
But Michael began counting,
Like a rafter does rafting...

He counted all day,
He counted all night,
He counted in dark,
He counted in light...
He counted for minutes,
For days, and for weeks,
He counted for longer than pelican beaks...

He got to a thousand,
And to ten thousands too,
He was so determined,
He had to miss school...
It took him two weeks to get to a million,
And a whole bunch of years before he got to a zillion...

His friends were in college,
But Mike stuck to his goal,
to get to infinity,
But he was growing quite old...

Michael's beard was long,
And his hair was white,
But he kept on counting,
Infinity was in sight!!!
He was so near,
So close he could feel it,
about to make the deal,
But he just couldn't seal it...
Infinity was there,
It was just one step ahead,
But it ran through green lights,
And didn't stop at the red...

The Problem is:
No matter how fast,
Mike hurries to catch it,
Infinity is equal,
He just can't match it...
It's always at least,
One step away,
It has to stop soon,
At least that's what I say...
But Michael found out,
That infinity's forever,
And he just can't get there,
Nope, not ever...
You can still hear him counting,
If you know where he lives,
Chasing infinity,
As fast as Santa Claus gives...
Yup,
That's Michael on his impossible mission,
To count to infinity,
He's got me wishing,
That he'd picked a number,
That wasn't large like a mountain,
So he could have a real life,
Besides only just countin'...
