Addition Limericks

Addition it gives me a sum,
Like zero plus one equals one,
I’d always be sad,
If I couldn’t add,
Addition is my type of fun...

One plus two makes a three,
It’s easy to add as you see,
And when I have more,
Like six plus a four,
My mother, she always help's me...

I add, and I add, and I add,
I added my mom and my dad,
They were so tall,
They started to fall,
They crashed and got really mad...


Adding things makes numbers grow,
It’s very cool, that I just know,
A five plus a four’s,
Not eight, no it’s more,
It’s nine, an eight is too low...
