"Hurry up Cocoa, Mr.R. is vaporizing up the school. We don't want to become part of history!!" screamed Justin.
"How about you give me a yo-yo?" suggested Cocoa, "No, I have one. How about a fur coat? No, I already have one of those too- Isn't it pretty? No, I know what I want! I want to eat all of the plants that you have germinated this year for science experiments with Mr. R., especially those little celery sticks you put into the water with the food coloring!"
"Cocoa, you're just a little pig!" screamed all the students.

"Yes, a guinea pig!" responded Cocoa, "Now where is my food? If there aren't more than 70 plants I will not show you where the elevator is and you will be squashed in this crumbling building!" The students quickly ran around the class and gathered up 24 pea plants, 24 celery plants and 14 sprouting corn plants. How many plants did they have?
