After failing his third-grade multiplication quizzes, Mr. R. was inspired to dedicate his life to making math easy and fun for all!!! Among other things, he has taught a variety of grades and subjects in a variety of schools in New York and California. He spent four years as a math specialist at 'The School' at Columbia University and has written numerous texts and textbooks for children...In his spare time he enjoys playing his bass and saxophone, running marathons, wrestling with his dog, his fish, and his ostriches!!!
